About the role
- Lead the operational execution of product portfolio decisions (new products, revised products, retirements, accreditation-related updates, and non-degree offerings) through the C2L process, including building and maintaining timelines/project plans, planning and facilitating meetings, holding cross-functional partners accountable, and risk identification and mitigation strategies across academic, operational, and strategy teams.
- Collaborate closely with many teams across the organization including Portfolio Strategy, Academics, Operations, Admissions, Advising, Marketing, Legal, Licensure, and the Registrar to ensure business, academic, and operational impacts and best practices are factored into all new and restaged product offerings.
- Lead efforts in coming up with creative approaches to problem solving and developing quality deliverables to support business needs.
- Work closely with the leader of Portfolio Operations and other Strategic Operations Managers to recommend and implement ongoing improvements to the product development process for USHE.
- Support the creation of tools and processes to support school decisions relating to content in academic programs to promote learning, affordability and business goals.
- Serve as the operational lead on scholarships and pricing for Strayer University, including routing scholarship and pricing changes for leadership approval, overseeing pricing and scholarship implementation in necessary systems, and managing communication regarding pricing and scholarship updates to internal teams.

- Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and Project Software/tools (SharePoint, MS Project, etc.)
- 3+ years of product experience or strategic operations experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Additional related experience, formal education, and Strayer University knowledge may be substituted for the education and/or experience requirement.
- Other: Must be able to travel occasionally should a business need arise. Travel may involve plane, car or metro.
