About the role

  • Collaborate closely with functional stakeholders and IT teams to support, maintain, and enhance Ellucian Banner environments
  • Ensure systems run smoothly and integrate seamlessly
  • Evolve to meet the dynamic needs of colleges and universities
  • Travel required to perform duties effectively

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience within the Higher Education sector
  • Expertise in Banner technologies and strong proficiency in PL/SQL
  • Experience coding in at least one language: Java, JavaScript, Groovy/Grails
  • Familiarity with database and IDE tools such as SQL Developer, Toad, Eclipse, or IntelliJ
  • Experience with web technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and RESTful Web Services
  • Proficiency in version control software like Git
  • Ability to self-manage, handle multiple projects, and problem-solve efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer service
  • Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and travel as required
