About the role

  • You serve as a functional HRBP, coaching managers on everything from organisational design to talent strategies.
  • You keep an eye on local statutory compliance and operate as a subject matter expert for Spain, ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies and employment practices.
  • You work closely with leaders to understand their teams' engagement and develop focus plans from tools like Peakon results.
  • You translate the bigger workforce planning picture into practical, executable recruitment demand, overseeing position approvals for speed.
  • You use people analytics and data insights to influence and support decision making across the business.
  • You manage complex employee relations issues and guide managers through difficult performance documentation and remediation.
  • You flawlessly run the full mid year and year end performance management cycles for your designated teams, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • You help translate the overall business strategy into a clear, relevant HR and people agenda that supports key business goals.
  • You proactively identify HR related risks and execute quarterly compliance checks and audits to mitigate issues locally.
  • You support the annual Talent Review and Mapping process, working with the Talent CoE to identify capability gaps and drive succession planning.
  • You champion efforts to build a strong, inclusive culture, directly impacting employee morale and retention across the function.
  • You lead or support organizational change initiatives, like restructuring, ensuring a smooth transition and clear communication.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of demonstrable experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist.
  • Proven ability to work at a strategic level, partnering effectively with senior leadership and management.
  • Strong practical knowledge of employment law and HR best practices in your country of employment.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting change management, talent management, and employee relations.
  • High level of business, commercial, and financial acumen.
  • Excellent ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
