About the role
- Produce models at vehicle and system level representing plant and control algorithms
- Utilize the Mathworks toolset including Simulink and associated toolboxes
- Develop task definition together with the technical lead
- Define model and control algorithm requirements
- Build and test of models
- Peer review of models
- Prepare and present results, models etc. to customers
- Follow formal verification procedures
- Author model documentation
Requirements
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a related discipline preferably Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics
- Good understanding of fundamental modelling principles of systems through experience
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink
- Knowledge in Hydro-actuated systems
- Knowledge in Electro-mechanical actuated systems
- Knowledge in Multi-body simulation
- Knowledge in Vehicle dynamics
- Knowledge in Systems engineering
