About the role
- Responsible for leading, developing and training the practice of Maintenance
- Oversee all maintenance personnel, including outside contractors
- Work with the operations management team to provide cost reduction opportunities
- Manage the execution of all equipment installation and maintenance functions
- Conduct predictive analysis of all process systems and equipment periodically
- Vigorous support of Stericycle’s commitment to safety
- Manage troubleshooting, replacement of components, and wiring of electric motors
- Perform and manage the maintenance of hydraulic systems
Requirements
- Five or more years of relevant management and technical experience required
- Leadership experience in a multi-site setting
- Ability to complete hands on preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and ability to learn computerized maintenance management systems
- Strong business vocabulary, grammar, and communication skills.
- Ability to present ideas and information clearly
- Effective listening skills
- Ability to build credibility and trust
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
