About the role

  • Generating and qualifying leads, by delivering a solid needs analysis to identify any current or future hiring requirements.
  • Researching the market to cleanse and enrich prospective customer data, including points of contact, contact details, current competitors used, current recruitment needs, renewal dates, budgets and budget dates.
  • Appointment setting / diarising for future call backs.
  • Working with the new business team to develop and win commercial opportunities.
  • Using Salesforce to record all detailed business development notes and lead development.
  • Learning and developing a detailed understanding of business development.
  • Working towards and achieving set KPIs.
  • Completing any pre-sales administrative functions, to ensure a speedy and smooth handover and sales process, such as completing customer ‘Account Forms’ process prior to handover.

Requirements

  • Be passionate about success and results oriented, with a determination to succeed which means you don’t give up easily.
  • A good telephone manner.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, driven, passionate outlook and approach.
  • Organised with good system skills.
  • Ability to handle objections and develop relationships.
  • Using techniques that appeal to reason, values, or emotion to generate enthusiasm for the work, commitment to a task objective, or compliance with a request. This includes using appropriate tactics to change a person’s attitude, beliefs, or behaviour.
