About the role
- Onboard customers onto Taktile and act as a trusted advisor to ensure they get real value from the platform
- Lead complex Taktile deployments in production and own technical delivery across multiple deployments from scoping to stable production
- Design solution architectures, develop decision logic and AI agents, and align with key customer stakeholders
- Scope work, sequence delivery, proactively remove blockers, and make trade-offs between scope, speed, and quality to ensure successful and timely project delivery
- Partner with product management to turn customer needs into actionable product insights and influence the product roadmap
- Develop reusable resources, best practices, and tools to scale the forward deployed engineering function across the organization
Requirements
- 3-5 years of engineering or technical deployment experience that includes customer-facing work
- Strong technical background (preferred fields: Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, Data Science)
- Ability to write and review production-grade code using Python and SQL
- Strong understanding of REST APIs
- Excellent problem-solving and ability to make quick, well-informed decisions under pressure
- Ability to build strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders
- Creative, proactive, collaborative, humble, and growth-oriented mindset
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Open to hybrid work model and can work from our NYC office at least three days per week
- (Ideal) Experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Solution Engineer, Implementation Specialist, or equivalent in a B2B SaaS company
- (Ideal) Experience building AI applications
- (Ideal) Experience applying and optimizing statistical and machine learning models to solve business problems
- (Ideal) Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- (Ideal) Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese
