Full-Stack Engineer, Wallets

General Counsel

• Own legal review for SDF’s outward-facing marketing and communications materials across channels, including social, web, mobile, PR, blogs, digital ads, decks, FAQs, event collateral, scripts, product explainers, disclosures, and early-stage campaign concepts.
• Advise Marketing, Communications, Product, Business Development, Ecosystem, Policy, and Legal stakeholders on public-facing content, campaign strategy, product messaging, partner marketing, and external positioning.
• Identify and help mitigate legal, regulatory, reputational, contractual, privacy, and consumer protection risk in external-facing work.
• Provide end-to-end legal support for marketing aspects of broader strategic business deals, including diligence, KYC coordination, drafting, negotiation, deliverables, and payment mechanics.
• Serve as a legal partner to Marketing leadership on marketing strategy, campaign planning, thought leadership, strategic messaging, and cross-functional issues involving Marketing, Product, BD, Comms, Events, Ecosystem, and Legal.
• Support SDF-owned and third-party events, by advising on event strategy, venue and vendor contracts, sponsorships, waivers, releases, collateral, activations, and time-sensitive operational issues.
• Support SDF’s brand and IP function, including trademark portfolio management, brand policy questions, brand asset use, naming and rebrand initiatives, clearance coordination, contested IP matters, and brand protection.
• Review and advise on product-related launch materials, webpages, explainers, FAQs, and announcements where product functionality, user understanding, external messaging, or legal sensitivity intersects with Marketing or Communications.
• Help develop and maintain practical legal processes, templates, guidelines, playbooks, training, and intake workflows that allow teams to move efficiently while staying aligned with SDF’s risk tolerance and public posture.
• Draft, review, and negotiate marketing, advertising, SaaS, event, vendor, sponsorship, strategic partnership, grant, and services agreements related to Marketing and other outward-facing initiatives.

Marketing Counsel

Product Manager

• In your first 30 days: ramp on the Stellar network, our products, and the ecosystem; meet your engineering, design, and partner counterparts; and ship a first small improvement end-to-end.
• Within 90 days: own a product area, build a prioritized roadmap grounded in real user and ecosystem needs, and establish a steady delivery cadence with your team.
• Define and drive product strategy and roadmap for your area, across one or more of: core protocol, enterprise, DeFi, developer experience, and agents.
• Talk to users, developers, and partners constantly, and translate their needs and pain points into a compelling vision and crisp, actionable requirements.
• Use AI tools to accelerate discovery and delivery — generating prototypes, mockups, and working demos to validate ideas before committing engineering time.
• Partner closely with Engineering and Design to ship high-quality products with urgency, and measure their impact after launch.
• Balance the needs of the network today with the longer-term future you are building toward.

Product Operations

• Learn how Product currently plans and ships, identify the highest-leverage gaps, and propose a lightweight operating model.
• Stand up the core operating cadences (planning cycles, product reviews, roadmap and execution tracking) and define the PM tool stack.
• Own and evolve the operating system Product uses to plan, track, and communicate work — roadmaps, planning artifacts, and execution tracking — in close partnership with Engineering.
• Design and run lightweight operating cadences (planning cycles, product reviews, execution check-ins) without adding unnecessary process.
• Improve visibility into priorities, progress, and decisions across the product organization.
• Identify where automation, AI, and agents can materially change how product work gets done, and turn those ideas into adopted capabilities.
• Build systems that capture and share high-quality product work (e.g., great PRDs) and decisions to raise the bar and accelerate learning across teams.
• Build structured feedback loops and synthesize signal into roadmap inputs to represent the internal voice of the customer and ecosystem.
• Over time, own PM onboarding and enablement, and partner with Product leadership to reinforce a high-performing product culture (Product All Hands, summits / onsites).

Product Operations Lead

• Managing the team responsible for driving Monthly Active Account volume on Stellar. This includes strategizing around: (1) payouts and commerce, (2) ramps and wallet growth for the Stellar ecosystem, and (3) vertical specific strategies on Aid. This will also include a thorough analysis of the merchant payment ecosystem at a global scale and establishing a commercial engagement strategy to drive these onboarded to the Stellar network.
• Developing a priority target list and ensuring execution against primary targets.
• Managing key strategic relationships with global payment service provider.
• Business development work related to our core priorities on expanding DeFi, increasing monthly addresses, and driving asset tokenization, in coordination with Leads of each partnership vertical to drive relevant outcomes. These include surfacing opportunities based on Stellar’s needs, as well as helping to close deals brought by other members of BD and SDF.
• Assist on regulatory and government relations needs in-region, helping support the Legal, Policy and Government Relations teams.
• Assist the Ecosystem team to identify, plan, and run events in-region.

Head of Payments – Business Development
