Security Engineer

• Define and lead the Foundation’s security strategy across both the Stellar ecosystem and Foundation-owned systems
• Raise the practical security baseline for key ecosystem participants, including wallets, infrastructure providers, custodians, issuers, and validators
• Publish actionable guidance, reference patterns, and security expectations that drive real adoption across the ecosystem

Director – Ecosystem Product Security

Product Designer

• Take ownership of creative vision and execution across all channels — digital, social, brand campaigns, activations, and events — ensuring every touchpoint reflects the quality, consistency, and visual ambition of the Stellar brand.
• Establish and evolve SDF's visual identity and design system, developing brand guidelines and toolkits that enable consistent, on-brand execution across the entire marketing organization.
• Lead creative output for flagship programs including Meridian 2026 and the Stellar House series, spanning environmental design, event identity, collateral, signage, swag, and digital assets.
• Direct the design and production of integrated marketing creative — including paid digital, organic social, email, web, and campaign assets — ensuring cohesive brand storytelling across all formats.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing design team, providing clear creative direction, actionable feedback, and ongoing development support to elevate both their craft and their impact.
• Own external agency and production vendor relationships end-to-end: briefing, directing, and quality-controlling output across brand, creative, and production partners with minimal supervision.
• Partner with the Sr. Director of Experiential Marketing and cross-functional stakeholders — including communications, developer relations, partnerships, and product marketing — to deliver integrated creative strategies that serve the full funnel.
• Pitch and present creative concepts to leadership with clarity and conviction; translate business objectives into compelling, executable creative strategies.
• Proactively identify and resolve creative bottlenecks; continuously improve team workflows, briefing processes, and production timelines to increase output quality and velocity.
• Bring a broad view of creative excellence — across media, beyond blockchain and fintech — introducing new visual ideas that keep Stellar's brand fresh and ahead of the curve.

Senior Design Manager

Account Manager

• Manage a portfolio of infrastructure partnerships across RPC node providers, validators, indexers, analytics providers, and compliance/risk data vendors — serving as the primary point of contact and relationship owner for each.
• Develop deep familiarity with each partner's technical capabilities, roadmap, and service offerings, and translate that knowledge into actionable insights for internal SDF teams including engineering, product, and ecosystem.
• Conduct regular partner reviews to assess performance, surface gaps in coverage or capability, and identify areas where partners can expand their footprint within the Stellar ecosystem.
• Drive expansion of partner relationships by identifying new use cases, advocating for Stellar integrations, and coordinating with BD leadership on commercial terms or grant structures where applicable.
• Monitor the health of the infrastructure ecosystem, flagging risks such as validator concentration, data provider outages, or indexer coverage gaps, and working proactively with partners to resolve them.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with SDF's product, engineering, and developer relations teams to ensure partner capabilities align with the evolving needs of builders on the Stellar network.
• Support onboarding of new infrastructure partners, including scoping integration requirements, coordinating technical introductions, and tracking progress through to launch.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of partner status, communications, and pipeline activity in CRM systems; provide regular reporting to BD leadership on portfolio health.
• Stay current on trends in blockchain infrastructure — including developments in data availability, node infrastructure, on-chain analytics, and compliance tooling — and bring relevant insights back to internal teams.
• Represent SDF at industry events and partner meetings, building relationships across the infrastructure provider community and positioning SDF as a thoughtful and engaged foundation partner.

Account Manager, Infrastructure

DeFi

• Source, qualify, and close partnerships with protocols, vault builders, and platforms that add value to the Stellar DeFi ecosystem, with particular focus on engaging with leading providers from the broader DeFi world (i.e. EVM protocols, Solana, etc.) and with an eye for opportunities in priority regions (e.g., LatAm, APAC, Africa, Middle East, EU)
• Drive forward DeFi projects on Stellar and support ecosystem integration and partnership needs, as well as the overall growth strategy for each project
• Foster strong relationships within Web3 to support the launch and growth of Stellar-based DeFi (i.e. security firms, bridges, exchanges, oracles)
• Work closely with product and engineering to develop new business opportunities

• Orchestrate Scanning: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of our security stack (Wiz/Orca, Trivy/Grype, Semgrep/CodeQL, and Socket). You’ll manage schedules, tune outputs to reduce noise, and partner with engineering to drive remediation.
• Manual Assessments: Conduct deep-dive security reviews of SDF codebases, APIs, and infrastructure configurations on a regular cadence.
• Supply Chain & SBOMs: Monitor dependencies for newly disclosed CVEs using Dependabot and Socket; maintain and automate our Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) workflows.
• Third-Party Audits: Manage external audits from scoping to final report—handling info-sharing, findings intake, and public-facing remediation summaries.
• Incident Leadership: Act as the lead for security incidents: managing triage, containment, forensics, and stakeholder communication through to resolution.
• Detection Engineering: Dig through logs and investigate anomalies in the SIEM. You will write, tune, and maintain detection rules to ensure our alert library remains relevant and actionable.
