About the role
- End-to-end account management: You independently and proactively manage and develop our existing customers as well as potential high-value new customers from inside sales — remotely via Microsoft Teams, phone and e-mail.
- Growth & cross-selling: You generate profitable growth by accurately identifying customer needs, preparing tailored offers, following up actively and leveraging cross-selling opportunities.
- Negotiation & lead handling: You conduct price and terms negotiations within our pricing strategy, ensuring stable, partnership-based customer relationships grounded in historical data. In addition, you handle incoming leads and thereby make a direct contribution to sales success.
- Strategic account development: Where significant customer potential is identified, you prepare and implement solid potential analyses and sales plans together with the team lead to exploit these opportunities strategically and purposefully.
- Order management: You take full ownership of order processing and accompany your projects through to successful completion.
- Data & insights: You maintain customer data and market information carefully in our systems and pass on valuable insights cross-functionally to the team.
Requirements
- Sales professional with strategic vision: You enjoy consultative B2B sales and ideally have initial or substantial experience managing major accounts/key accounts and working with B2B industrial clients, public-sector clients, authorities and municipalities.
- Your background: You impress us with a university degree, solid commercial training, or as a highly motivated career changer with a strong track record in solution selling.
- Product knowledge: Experience or initial exposure to areas such as barrier systems, construction-site supplies or street furniture is a plus.
- Negotiation skills: You have a strong customer and service orientation combined with excellent negotiation skills — including for complex deals and framework agreements.
- Personal qualities: You demonstrate determination, strategic thinking, persistence during longer sales cycles and strong persuasive ability.
- Tools & language: Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, and a confident command of modern office communication technology round off your profile.
