About the role

  • Collaborate with program operations and Workforce Management (WFM) to monitor day-to-day clinician activities to ensure smooth operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for operational and clinician management issues, supported by service-line Clinician Managers who provide daily oversight.
  • Identify operational risks to quality, safety, or patient experience and lead timely mitigation efforts.
  • Ensure clinicians and staff consistently follow established protocols, documentation practices and workflows.
  • Identify gaps in compliance or performance and escalate or intervene as appropriate.
  • Ensures tight alignment of clinical pathways with operational workflows and top of licensure work by clinicians and care team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth clinical operations and successful integrations after go live.
  • Gather clinician feedback and track metrics to identify gaps and strategies to support adoption, improvements and maintenance of new clinical programs, tools, or technologies.
  • Build, lead, and scale a team of Clinician Managers, each accountable for day-to-day oversight of a designated service line.
  • Establish clear service-line performance expectations, and escalation pathways for clinician performance and conduct.
  • Coach and support Clinician Managers to drive consistent standards, early interventions, and a positive clinician experience.
  • Partner with Clinical Leadership, WFM and program operations to identify systemic trends in clinician performance or protocol adherence and implement service-line improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare administration, public health, nursing or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a clinical, healthcare, or operational management role.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical documentation, and patient care protocols.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and lead in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Experience with EHR systems and comfort with digital health tools is preferred.
