About the role

  • Design and maintain backend services in Kotlin, Java, and Python to support user data flows
  • Build and optimize event-driven pipelines connecting internal systems with the Customer Data Platform (CDP) and downstream marketing channels
  • Implement reliable processes for collecting, transforming, and activating user data ensuring accuracy and timeliness for campaigns and analytics
  • Collaborate with marketing, data, and product teams to align data integrations with business and campaign goals
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and observability of data pipelines through monitoring, logging, and proactive improvements
  • Apply best practices across the software development lifecycle, including design, testing, CI/CD, deployment, and maintenance

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and Python
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a software engineer
  • Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases
  • Experience with cloud systems (preferably AWS)
  • Familiarity with big data processing, event-driven architectures, and pipeline monitoring
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • (Nice to have) Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) or marketing technology
