About the role

  • Design and implement back-end systems and APIs using state-of-the-art technologies and practices
  • Contribute to a mature, API-first fintech platform built with Django
  • Communicate with US-based clients daily
  • Develop a solid codebase covered with automated tests
  • Learn new skills and technologies and use AI tools in development
  • Occasionally take on frontend tasks
  • Impact product development and direction

Requirements

  • Experience in implementing back-end APIs
  • Team-oriented approach and knowledge of the Agile process
  • Good communication and problem solving skills
  • Openness to working with startup and scaleup clients
  • Ability to write testable code
  • Readiness to occasionally take on frontend development tasks
  • Fluency in English and Polish
  • Familiarity with Django (nice to have)
  • Some experience with frontend development (React is a plus)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure management (e.g., AWS, GCP, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with NoSQL/SQL databases
  • Familiarity with asynchronous Python and message queues
  • Experience with Temporal
