About the role

  • Review accounts for issues associated with Portfolio Health, monitor for potential risk and investigate issues raised
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze diagnose design and implement solutions for complex clients
  • Liaise with colleagues within the US, EMEA, APAC and India SSC offices and divisions globally, where required, for query resolution
  • Act as the main point of contact for client queries relating to the Recordkeeping system, client file deliveries and transactions tracked with proactive management to ensure timely response considering multiple avenues for resolution
  • Perform key Recordkeeping system functions
  • Review of various control reports such as reconciliation, material breaks and others to ensure the health of client’s portfolios are maintained
  • Perform an overview function for the Shared Services functions identifying operational trends issues and areas for improvement
  • Perform work independently within scope of established guidelines and according to specific procedures and analyzes and recommends solutions to complex and non-routine issues and special projects
  • Interact with all IMS Teams (Transaction Management, Corporate Actions, Income, Cash Flow, etc.)
  • Handle and resolve issues involving all operational and various IT areas (Asset servicing, Trader Support and Client Reporting)
  • Remain familiar with back-up procedures when system applications and/or transmission problems arise
  • Support and provide analysis for Client Change Request items impacting the Enterprise processes and Operating Models
  • Take ownership of issues to resolution, engage teams as needed to gain consensus and communicate progress
  • Manage and train junior staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, business, technology or equivalent or relevant industry experience
  • 6-10 years of Middle Office and/or equivalent work
  • Broad and in-depth understanding of the asset management industry, gained through working in a variety of asset management disciplines, including detailed knowledge on all types of financial instruments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to collaborate with different teams and presentation skills to audiences (internal and external) of different sizes and levels of seniority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
