About the role

  • Support and implement ServiceNow solutions for Sourcing & Procurement Operations | Hardware and Software Asset Lifecycle
  • Design, build, and customize platform applications
  • Deliver business application needs while preserving baseline functionality with customization and extension of the platform modules
  • Designs and develops new ServiceNow applications and services
  • Assist ServiceNow System Administrators with incident resolution, as needed
  • Provide mentoring and guidance for ServiceNow System Administrators
  • Take ownership of complex business requirements and work them to completion
  • Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process optimization within ServiceNow workflows
  • Stay current on ServiceNow product developments, industry trends, and best practices to recommend improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in professional software development
  • 2+ years of experience in ServiceNow platform development
  • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITAM, ITBM, and Service Catalog
  • Proficiency in scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Glide API) and building custom workflows and integrations
  • Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes within an ITIL framework
  • Strong requirements gathering and refining experience
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) (Good to have)
  • ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certifications (e.g., ITSM, HAM, VR) (Good to have)
  • ITIL v3 or ITIL v4 Foundation Certification (Good to have)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, especially under pressure
  • Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner both written and orally
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Be a team player with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, initiative, and self-motivation
  • Ability to multi-task, meet aggressive timelines and have strong work ethics.
