💰 $35 - $55 per hour

About the role

  • Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements at a senior professional level
  • Work on a wide range of complex environmental health enforcement issues
  • Provide compliance assistance and improvement strategies, and rule writing
  • Interact extensively with program managers, field staff, legal counsel, and community officials
  • Prepare cases for progressive enforcement and referral to the Attorney General's Office
  • Provide technical support including training and guidance to local town officials

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in political science, communication, health, public health, journalism, public relations or related field
  • Five (5) years or more of experience at a professional level in government relations, communication, public health, health policy, lobbying/advocacy or public relations
  • Law degree (preferred)
  • Master's degree in public administration, political science, public health or communication (preferred)
