About the role

  • Create engaging and interactive on demand courses
  • Develop curriculum and materials
  • Assess training and related needs for services
  • Manage the design and creation of on demand content with a DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) and Accessibility lens
  • Collaborate with other trainers within the department and across state government
  • Participate in meetings and planning sessions
  • Use technology to facilitate these activities

Requirements

  • Professional certification, or bachelor's degree or higher, in one or more of the following: adult learning, human resources, organizational development, leadership development, and/or public administration
  • Four (4) years or more experience that includes supervisory experience or training others in supervisory skills
  • Any combination of the following: developing training programs, teaching or facilitating programs for adults, providing consulting services to an organization, or one-on-one coaching of adult learners
