About the role
- Provide clinical oversight and leadership at our Secure Residential Facility.
- Supervise all Residential Counselors including performance evaluations and addressing HR-related matters.
- Provide training and professional guidance to direct care Residential Counselors.
- Review, support, and approve clinical documentation completed by Residential Counselors.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Clinical Services to oversee clinical practices of the facility.
- Participate as a member of the RVTR Leadership Team and multidisciplinary care team.
- Deliver therapeutic supports directly to residents (individual, group, and milieu).
- Promote a culture of open communication, accountability, and collaboration.
- Provide crisis intervention, safety assessments, and support community integration efforts.
Requirements
- Master’s in psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Social Work
- Three (3) years or more of experience in the mental health field
- Experience providing clinical supervision
- Experience with adults with serious mental illness
- Supervising experience preferred but not required
- Licensure in psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Social Work preferred but not required.
- Must be Licensed eligible for Licensure in Psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling or Social Work in the State of Vermont with current licensure preferred.
- Candidates must pass any level of background investigation applicable to the position.
