About the role

  • Provide clinical oversight and leadership at our Secure Residential Facility.
  • Supervise all Residential Counselors including performance evaluations and addressing HR-related matters.
  • Provide training and professional guidance to direct care Residential Counselors.
  • Review, support, and approve clinical documentation completed by Residential Counselors.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Clinical Services to oversee clinical practices of the facility.
  • Participate as a member of the RVTR Leadership Team and multidisciplinary care team.
  • Deliver therapeutic supports directly to residents (individual, group, and milieu).
  • Promote a culture of open communication, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Provide crisis intervention, safety assessments, and support community integration efforts.

Requirements

  • Master’s in psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Social Work
  • Three (3) years or more of experience in the mental health field
  • Experience providing clinical supervision
  • Experience with adults with serious mental illness
  • Supervising experience preferred but not required
  • Licensure in psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Social Work preferred but not required.
  • Must be Licensed eligible for Licensure in Psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling or Social Work in the State of Vermont with current licensure preferred.
  • Candidates must pass any level of background investigation applicable to the position.
