Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, business management, public administration , mathematics, finance or a related field.
OR Four (4) or more years’ experience in tax examination/preparation, accounting, auditing, business administration or related field.
OR Two (2) years or more of experience as Tax Field Auditor I or Tax Auditor I; or Three (3) years or more of experience as a Tax Examiner III or Tax Analyst II or higher with the State Of Vermont Department Of Taxes.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant.
Experience in a government audit role.
Candidates must pass any level of background investigation applicable to the position.
