About the role

  • Provides early intervention services in the child and family’s natural environment (home, childcare, etc.).
  • Examines and treats children with physical impairments and difficulties.
  • Completes child assessments concerning developmental, educational, and social skills/abilities.
  • Participates in family interviews and development of Individualized Family Service Plans.
  • Evaluates the child’s response to treatment/intervention and adjusts recommendations as required.

Requirements

  • Level I: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and a current Oklahoma license as an Occupational Therapist issued by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision.
  • Level II: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and a current Oklahoma license as an Occupational Therapist issued by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision, plus one year of professional experience.
  • Level III: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and a current Oklahoma license, plus three years of professional experience.
  • Level IV: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and a current Oklahoma license, plus four years of professional experience.
  • A letter of eligibility issued by the Oklahoma Board will be accepted for Level I.
  • Background check and legal authorization to work in the U.S. required.
