About the role
- Conducting case investigation and providing case management services for infected pregnant mothers and exposed infants
- Supporting the Epidemiology program coordinating clinic services for Rabies Post Exposure Prophylaxis clients
- Providing health education on transmission and contact investigation
- Coordinating Labs, X-rays, and monthly assessment appointments with the clinic staff
- Gathering and entering data into the MERLIN system and maintaining data quality controls
Requirements
- Current Florida Registered Nursing License or a Registered Nursing License from another compact state
- Willing to work before, during, and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency
- Willing to travel to different Department of Health sites in Lake County as needed
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred.
