About the role
- Evaluate position changes and personnel action requests to determine required forms, supporting documentation, and compliance considerations.
- Prepare and submit position change and personnel action requests such as reclassifications, reorganizations, new hires, pay actions and other personnel transactions.
- Conduct detailed reviews of submission to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to applicable policies, regulations, and internal procedures.
- Work closely with the central HR office to facilitate timely processing of personnel actions and resolve questions or discrepancies.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with division leadership, staff, and key stakeholders regarding requirements, timelines, issues, and status updates.
- Maintain organized records and tracking mechanisms to ensure accountability and audit readiness.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience reviewing documents or data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Experience performing records management related work to include maintaining data in electronic databases such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, etc.
- Experience researching and compiling data for reports
- Experience performing human resource related work, particularly work processing position changes and/or personnel actions.
