About the role
- Plans and manages comprehensive nutritional care component of a large, designated caseload of clients in the County Health Department primary care services
- Conducts nutrition assessments and individual counseling, Medical Nutrition Therapy on normal and therapeutic diets
- Provides nutrition consultation for contracted agencies
- Documents client contacts and client services in the Electronic Health Record
- Participates in client case management conferences with other health center staff
Requirements
- This occupation requires that the incumbents meet the requirements outlined in Chapter 468, Part X, Florida Statutes, or be eligible to practice dietetics in accordance with Chapter 64B8-40 to 45, Florida Administrative Code
- Registration as a dietitian as defined by the American Dietetic Association
