About the role
- Obtain height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, blood glucose, urine pregnancy test, etc.
- Assist nurse and medical provider in clinic as needed.
- Escort client to exam room and assure they are ready for exam.
- Perform Venipuncture and properly label and pack all lab specimens for transport to laboratories.
- Assure all exam rooms for clinics are organized, clean and stocked with up-to-date and adequate supplies.
- Autoclave instruments as needed.
- Complete clinical supply and equipment inventory monthly utilizing proper form.
- Oversee clinical biohazard waste management and documentation.
- Answer and triage phone calls and faxes from clients and forward to appropriate staff.
- Make appointments for clients per guidelines.
- Register patient and make appointments in HMS.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- CPR Certification
- 1 year experience as a CNA or MA
