About the role
- Serve as an OPS Dental Hygienist on Volusia County's Dental Outreach Program
- Provide assessments, fluoride varnish, toothbrush prophy, and anticipatory guidance for infants and children up to age 4 years old
- Educate community agencies and the public through community events and health fairs
- Work under the general supervision of the Public Health Services Manager
- Travel between multiple work sites may be required
Requirements
- Must have experience working with children
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must have current authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
- Experience placing and evaluating dental sealants (preferred)
- Computer knowledge (Eaglesoft, HMS) (preferred)
- Bi-lingual Spanish/English (preferred)
