💰 $35 per hour

About the role

  • Provides nutrition education and support in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).
  • Develops nutrition care plans.
  • Provides breastfeeding promotion, education, and support to WIC clients.
  • Responsible for documenting all client contacts in the WIC FL-WISE Data System.
  • Determines client program eligibility.
  • Assists in the in-service education for WIC staff.
  • Performs anthropometric measurements and hematological testing for WIC clients following DHM 150 -24 rules and regulations.
  • Completes leave, attendance, EARS, travel and any other reports as required and according to established procedures.

Requirements

  • Must have current authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
  • Must have Florida Licensure as a Dietitian/Nutritionist.
  • Willing to work before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency.
  • Must have required registration in accordance with Chapter 468, Florida Statutes, or eligible to practice dietetics in accordance with Chapter 64B8-40 to 45, Florida Administrative Code.
  • Must be able to work early morning, late evening, and Saturdays.
