About the role
- Manages large-scale transportation planning and development projects of a multimodal, multijurisdictional, and high-profile projects including transit, rail, intermodal and other transportation modes.
- Coordination between multiple stakeholders to develop project support and participation, scopes of work, budgets, finance plans, consultant acquisition, contract negotiations and supplemental agreements coordinated with Procurement invoice approval.
- Liaison with elected officials and board, agency staff, special interest groups, civic organization, and the public, formal presentations to elected boards and public organizations.
- Coordinates with resource agencies, private development, private transportation companies, utilities, land owners, and federal agencies, technical writing, oversight and review, and leadership of project teams and committees.
Requirements
- Six years of experience in the field of transportation, planning, public administration, engineering or logistics.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in one of the above-mentioned fields can substitute for four years of the required experience.
- A master’s degree from an accredited college or university in one of the above-mentioned fields can substitute for six years of the required experience.
