About the role
- Collect specimen samples (blood) from racing animals
- Observe the overall health of the horses and recommend to the Stewards the scratching of any horse considered to be unsound or unfit to race
- Reports directly to the Veterinarian Manager but is required to work closely with the detention barn supervisor and various FGCC staff
- Comfortable working in a barn/stable environment
Requirements
- One (1) year relevant experience
- Current State of Florida license in veterinary medicine in good standing
