About the role

  • Administer the delivery of Child Protective Investigations and supervise staff in an assigned service center.
  • Conduct periodic meetings with all supervisors.
  • Work with Child & Family Well-Being staff to strengthen effectiveness of service delivery.
  • Evaluate monitoring reports and implement corrective action plans.
  • Responsible for oversight of assigned operational units' compliance with federal funding requirements.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of management experience.
  • Five years of Child Protection related experience.
  • Current Child Welfare Certification with the Florida Certification Board.
  • Experience in resolving customer inquiries/requests/complaints.
  • Valid Driver License.
  • Knowledge of social, economic, health or rehabilitative services objectives.
  • Ability to plan and develop programs or program components.
  • Proficient in the application of the child welfare safety practice model.
