About the role
- Installs wiring, lights, and hydraulic components on Florida Forest Service equipment
- Uses specialized tools including welders and cutting torches for fabrication and repair
- Performs major and minor repairs on all types of equipment assigned to the FFS
- Accurately prepares work orders for all work performed
Requirements
- A high school diploma or its equivalent
- Valid driver license
- Numerically based work sample administered with minimum required passing score
