About the role
- Provide maintenance assistance and support to the Capitol Complex
- Perform highly skilled and complex mechanical repairs on building equipment
- Conduct inspections, analyze trouble, and plan sequences of repair operations
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
- Analyze performance of equipment and perform maintenance on air conditioning systems
- Conduct plumbing duties, including unclogging drains and repairing fixtures
- Maintain good public relations with peers, supervision, and tenants in the building
Requirements
- Five years’ experience in the maintenance and repair of commercial buildings
- At least two years in one of the major disciplines of the building trades
- HVAC/Chiller Certification
- Valid and applicable driver’s license
- Ability to be on-call, occasionally working nights, weekends and holidays
