About the role
- In this position you will be responsible for receiving, reviewing and assigning all abuse reports received from the Florida Abuse Hotline.
- Print and review all abuse reports received from the Hotline and OTI requests called in from other counties.
- Review appropriate databases for the previous or open investigations and child family involvement with other family safety programs.
- Provide clerical support for a multi-function Family Safety Unit.
- Prepare intake case records for Child Protective Investigator for cases received over the Child Abuse Hotline.
- Assign cases to CPI or CPI Supervisor.
- Package investigation information and conduct diligent searches.
- Archive case files and maintain rotation and case logs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Microsoft Office Suite experience.
- Two years of clerical experience preferred.
- Ability to speak/read/write Spanish/Creole/French or other foreign language may be considered in the selection process as determined by Agency need at time of interview.
