About the role
- Engage and direct general services program for forensic institution.
- Supervise employees assigned to general services including facility operations and maintenance, property/fleet management, records management, and housekeeping.
- Serve as project manager for all facility operations, maintenance, or construction projects.
- Oversee supervision and inspection of projects funded through operating funds or fixed capital outlay.
- Review project proposals, classify project funding sources, and prioritize projects for facility leadership.
- Assist in scope development and justification for construction and repair projects for legislative budget requests and capital improvement plans.
- Act as lead for Administrative Services Unit during the absence of the director.
- Direct the facility operations to ensure work orders and other maintenance-related activities are resolved in a timely manner.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Two years of experience in project management, office administration, accounting, personnel, purchasing, or building construction.
- Experience in FLAIR, MFMP, People First, preferred.
- A valid driver’s license.
