About the role
- Incumbent reports to the Director of Nursing and will provide quality professional care to our American Heroes to ensure their health, safety, and security
- Responsible for administration of medications and treatments per MD order
- Monitoring and providing interventions to meet the needs of the resident
- Completing accurate clinical documentation reflective of resident’s status
- Providing supervision and guidance to RN, LPN, CNA and other health care professionals
- Ensuring nursing personnel are following job descriptions and residents are receiving total nursing care
- Coordinating assignments to maintain regulatory compliance
- Making daily rounds to observe residents and determine if nursing needs are being met
- Observing nursing staff giving care
- Maintaining the standards of nursing care and implementing policies and procedures of the facility
Requirements
- Must possess a current Florida Registered Nurse License
- Must possess a current CPR certification
- Must have supervisory nursing experience
- Must be willing and able to work evening, night, weekend and holidays as required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
