About the role
- Assist the assistant institution superintendent in management excellence and cost efficiency of a large hospital
- Manage maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utilities
- Supervise and direct employees, communicating, motivating, training, and evaluating them
- Evaluate employees against standards and take necessary action for recognizing or correcting performance
- Plan and schedule maintenance work according to facility priorities and standards
- Manage landscaping and grounds development
- Monitor and inspect work for satisfaction and quality
Requirements
- Class E Driver’s license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 7 years of work experience in facility management, operations and maintenance, clinical engineering, safety and security, planning, design and construction, or environmental management
- 3 years of experience in a health care setting
- 4 years of management/supervisory/administrative experience
