About the role

  • Oversees project delivery, contract management, and documentation, communication, and collaboration across teams
  • Maintains up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Assists in implementing IT governance policies
  • Monitors performance metrics and coordinates projects to optimize operations and productivity
  • Develops and maintains a project delivery and contract management structure with appropriate document control processes
  • Coordinates and ensures timely completion of tasks within the Tolls Data Center team
  • Identifies stakeholders outside the team for structured communication and documentation exchange
  • Oversees and ensures TDC Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are up to date
  • Coordinates activities of TDC information systems staff for continuity of operations
  • Reviews daily operations of support units and coordinates project activities

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of information technology and records management services
  • Knowledge of applicable legal and administrative requirements, reporting regulations, and related best practices
  • Knowledge of fiscal management practices, including budget preparation and expenditure control
  • Skill in using computers and standard business and specialized software programs
  • Ability to oversee staff and motivate performance excellence
  • Ability to provide strong leadership to build consensus among diverse groups
  • Ability to plan, organize and oversee a wide variety of programs and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to evaluate the work of others
  • Ability to analyze complex situations
  • Ability to develop and implement corrective actions and strategies for the Department’s success
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with agency officials, executive management, the public and various stakeholder groups regarding sensitive and/or complex issues
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative programs and services relating to information/systems management and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to facilitate large and small groups dealing with a wide variety of issues
  • Ability to strategically weigh risks and benefits of actions, prior to taking action
  • Ability to continuously seek ways to improve efficiencies and service to the public
  • Ability to foster workplace diversity values and outreach in program execution and delivery
  • Occasional overnight travel required.
