Maintain all relational databases for the Department
Manage the Florida Voter Registration System (FVRS) database and the Florida Corporate Registry
Provide supervisory responsibilities and direction to staff
Propose and implement failover strategies
Perform database patches and upgrades
Schedule monitoring of successful database back-ups
Conduct proactive maintenance and propose issue resolution
Generate monthly database performance reports

Requirements

Four (4) years of experience in database technology support environment
At least four (4) demonstrable years of experience as an SQL Server database administrator in a professional environment
Familiarity with Oracle database administration
At least four (4) years as a database administration in a State of Florida agency
At least four (4) years in a supervisory position in a State of Florida agency
Experience with Microsoft Azure and DevOps
