About the role
- Manages the Health Education Department for the Florida Department of Health in Marion County
- Oversees community health promotion and education efforts
- Ensures compliance with all program requirements and professional standards
- Manages Health Education staff including Health Educators
- Responsible for program budgets, reporting, purchasing and fiscal administration
- Represents the Department of Health at community meetings
- Assists in identifying grant opportunities and other funding sources
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in supervisory or lead worker role
- Experience in public speaking
- Experience in community partnerships
- Managing Budgets
- Writing / Managing Grants
- Experience in community programs
