About the role
- Support regional operations related to post-permanency services.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in behavioral and mental health placement services.
- Engage with performance metrics and outcome measures aligned with federal and state laws.
- Apply change management strategies to promote a culture of innovation and performance improvement.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners, the assigned Contract Manager(s), and teams to identify and address service gaps.
- Act as the primary point of contact for notifications of youth recommended for higher levels of care.
- Assist in monitoring target populations for increased stability opportunities.
- Participate in Local Review Teams (LRTs) and State Review Teams (SRT) involving youth for placement and associated needs.
- Attend community events related to behavioral and mental health.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
- Preference of Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a behavioral health or related setting, working with youth and families in need of behavioral and/or mental health interventions.
- Preference of a minimum 2 years of professional experience within the Florida Dependency Child Welfare system (foster home licensing, investigations or case management).
