About the role
- Providing visitor services, maintenance, protection, administration, and resource management
- Managing visitor services and addressing visitor complaints
- Participating in resource management and fire execution
- Maintaining park structures and equipment
- Preparing forms and reports related to park activities
- Conducting routine patrols and security checks
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Knowledge of Florida’s natural and cultural resources
- Skill in communicating effectively verbally and in writing
- Skill in operating a cash register and reconciling receipts accurately
- Skill in preparing reports
- Ability to participate in resource management tasks
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and assist in transporting items or supplies 100 pounds or more
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
