About the role
- Responsible for coordinating activities in the Medical Services unit at the Escambia County Health Department
- Assess, plan, organize, and prioritize systems of care to improve medical services
- Engage in supervisory responsibilities including communication and training of employees
- Develop performance expectations and conduct performance reviews
- Administer fiscal operations, including planning budgets and coordinating financial reporting
- Develops medical/health programs for clinical and community health needs
- Monitor quality of care and ensure compliance with standards
- Analyze data to improve service delivery and utilization
- Assure compliance with medical services regulations and standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution in the U.S.
- Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in accordance with Chapter 464, Florida Statutes
- Valid Driver’s License
- 5 or more years of Nursing and Leadership experience
- A Master's degree or higher from an accredited Institution in the U.S. (preferred)
