About the role
- Serves as the senior administrator and strategic leader responsible for the comprehensive management of a residential academy and its subsequent post-residential phase.
- Reporting to The Adjutant General, through the Camp Blanding Joint Training Center Commander and his/her Deputy, the director ensures the program provides for the safety and security of the cadets and adheres to the Federal-State Cooperative Agreement and National Guard Bureau (NGB) standards, focusing on the recovery and development of at-risk youth.
- Their primary duty involves overseeing a multi-disciplinary team—including education, military-style commandant staff, and counseling professionals—to deliver a curriculum centered on the program’s core components, such as academic excellence, leadership, and life-coping skills.
- In addition to day-to-day operations, the executive is responsible for fiscal stewardship, managing budgets derived from both federal and state funding streams.
Requirements
- Must be a current member of the Florida National Guard within the Grade(s) of O4(P) to O5
- Must have a SECRET Security Clearance.
