About the role
- Serve clients in the WIC program in Leon County and nearby counties
- Perform eligibility determination, anthropometrics and hemoglobin testing
- Issue EBT cards and program benefits
- Schedule client appointments and assist with nutrition questionnaires
- Provide nutrition education contacts and newsletters
Requirements
- Valid Driver License
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Ability to provide customer service consistent with WIC program regulations
- Ability to perform anthropometric (length, height, weight) measurements
- Ability to perform hemoglobin testing
- Competent keyboard skills
- Ability to learn FL-WISE data system
- Ability to learn DOH software applications
- Ability to use calculator
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality
