About the role
- Preparing the closed case files for scanning to the archives.
- Providing administrative support to the Multistate & Privacy Bureau investigator and attorneys in the Orlando office.
- Removing all staples, paper clips, tabs, etc. from the case documents.
- Taping smaller papers onto a sheet of blank letter-size paper for scanning.
- Separating documents by type according to the labels on the folders.
- Selecting the correct bar code for the document type.
- Identifying confidential information for removal and marking as non-public information.
- Keeping records of what each box contains.
- Preparing FedEx shipping labels.
- Communicating by email with the Records Department regarding shipments.
- Updating excel tracking reports.
- Scanning documents and uploading them to the agency document management system.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of secretarial or clerical experience; or A High School diploma or its equivalent.
- Good spelling and grammar skills.
- Excellent ability to follow detailed instructions.
