About the role

  • Implement strategies with community partners that increase treatment entry, reduce drug use frequency and high-risk drug use practices
  • Improve overall health of persons who use drugs, with a focus on reducing overdoses
  • Lead and coordinate overdose prevention strategies aimed at reducing overdose-related morbidity and mortality
  • Work closely with community organizations and other stakeholders to develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based overdose prevention and response programs
  • Provide overdose prevention education and coordinate overdose prevention and response efforts with community partners

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Science from an accredited college or university
  • Valid driver’s license free of major infractions and access to an automobile to be utilized for work purposes and receive reimbursement for mileage
  • Experience with data extraction and data analysis
  • Strong understanding of public health data and the ability to use data to inform program decisions
