About the role

  • Compliance with the processing requirements of Chapter 215.422, F.S. is mandatory.
  • This is moderately independent work providing Visitor Services, Maintenance, and Customer Service at Grayton Beach State Park.
  • Explains facilities and services provided for public use, enjoyment and education; meets visitors, answer questions, provides information and directions in an accurate and professional manner.
  • Maintains cleanliness of rental cabins.
  • Maintains cleanliness of grounds and facilities.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Basic computer skills to be able to complete a timesheet.
  • Basic cleaning and safety good public relations.
  • Skill in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions/directions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to clean park facilities, including but not limited to, cleaning cabins and picking up trash.
  • Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather.
  • Ability to perform physical labor and lift 40 pounds.
