About the role

  • Assist in covering Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, Broward, Glades and Hendry counties
  • Assist in data collection, tracking, technical assistance under the supervision of an Immunization Section Operations Management Consultant II
  • Perform Immunization Section Vaccine for Children (VFC) Program related site visits to ensure Federal and State requirements are being met
  • Conduct VFC field site visits including VFC Compliance Visit, Unannounced Storage & Handling (USH) Visit, Enrollment (OSR) Visit, and VFC Contact Visit
  • Responsible for data compiling, collection, and entry into appropriate software and format as well as the preparation of applicable reports
  • Provide training to community partners in areas such as Health Management System (HMS), Florida SHOTS, reminder and recall activities, vaccines storage and handling, and recommended immunization schedules

Requirements

  • Driver's License
  • High School Completion or Equivalent
  • 1 year conducting quality assurance and improvement activities in the public or private sector (preferred).
  • Knowledge of how vaccines prevent diseases and protect the public
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suites
