About the role

  • This position is an OPS Investigation Specialist I within the Consumer Services Unit.
  • Responds to consumers via telephone regarding complaints and investigations against health care practitioners.
  • Receives, scans, performs quality control check and uploads all complaints into the imaging database.
  • Processes all incoming correspondence and payments received and appropriately records incoming correspondence in licensure and enforcement database and codes appropriately.
  • Performs all other duties as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-year administrative experience to include computer software, data entry and document preparation
  • Proficient use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Knowledge of MQA database (enforcement and licensure)
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to organize workload
  • Ability to provide quality customer service
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of techniques of researching, gathering and maintaining data
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Satisfactorily complete a background investigation, fingerprinting, and participation in direct deposit are requirements for employment.
