About the role
- Spend majority of time engaged in supervisory responsibilities
- Communicate with, motivate, train, and evaluate employees
- Plan and direct facility services
- Resolve problems to meet operational objectives
- Monitor staff activities for service goals compliance
- Analyze and evaluate clinic and office operations
- Manage building maintenance, repairs, and improvements
- Manage fire alarms, security alarms, and access systems
- Analyze facility data to detect and correct issues
- Work with Orange County government for joint actions
- Oversee construction and renovation projects
Requirements
- Current Florida Department of Health (DOH) employee
- At least one year of verifiable experience leading and/or supervising tradesmen or other maintenance personnel in the performance of their duties
- At least one year of verifiable experience using the state’s purchasing application My Florida MarketPlace (MFMP)
- Valid Florida Driver’s License
