Serves as the Bureau of Departmental Information Systems Lead Database Administrator
Maintains the Florida Voter Registration System (FVRS) database
Manages the team that maintains all relational databases for the Department
Provides supervisory responsibilities and direction to staff
Proposes and implements failover strategies
Performs or tasks database patches, upgrades, and new features implementation

Requirements

At least four (4) years of experience in a technology support environment or a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or management information systems
At least four (4) years of experience as an Oracle database administrator in a professional environment
At least four (4) years as a Microsoft SQL database administrator
At least four (4) years experience with Unix/Linux system administration
At least four (4) years as a database administrator in a State of Florida agency
