About the role

  • Develop, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate all aspects of Nursing Services in accordance with accepted nursing practices and procedures.
  • Provide quality professional care to veteran residents to ensure their health, safety and security.
  • Coordinate and monitor work assignments of Nursing Services personnel.
  • Determine appropriate Nursing Service staffing needs and develop a master staffing plan.
  • Supervise subordinate personnel in their job functions, including leave and attendance, performance reviews, and standards compliance.

Requirements

  • Must have valid licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Must have a current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Willingness to apply lifesaving skills when necessary.
  • Must have two (2) years supervisory experience in a long-term care facility or skilled nursing facility.
  • Successful completion of the employment screening process to include a national background investigation and drug test.
